we designed this easy tour specifically for those with little or no mountain biking experience as the perfect entry into an exciting new sport (check also our Vinci tour).

The day begins with a short van shuttle up to Monte Morello, one of the mountains towering over Florence. We'll ride along the wide trails through the quiet woods of this protected area and have ample time to get used to our bikes and learn some technical tricks for handling different types of terrain.

The trail will gently climb to one of the higher points of the mountain and then descend to a beautiful overlook with views of the Appenine mountains that extend north out of Florence. Arriving at Ceppeto, a tiny chapel nestled in the woods, we'll stop for a delicious picnic lunch (weather permitting) or enjoy lunch at a nearby trattoria.

Our descent to Florence will be exhilerating as we follow tiny roads that wind through olive groves and past old stone farm houses.
