Join us on this 3-day classic tour of Tuscany, through its very heart: the
Chianti region between
Florence
and
Siena. It is a living example of the harmony
that can exist between nature and "civilisation,"

with
a natural beauty that has only been enriched by the endeavors of human beings.
Come see what we are talking about!
DAY ONE
We'll begin the tour in the
spectacular medieval town
of Siena with a short walking tour and visit. A stop at the
richly
decorated Duomo (cathedral) and the
Piazza
del Campo, the famous shell-shaped medieval square, will be musts.
After a light lunch, we'll head out of Siena and begin our journey.
This afternoon's ride will not be difficult, as we gently climb and descend
past vineyards, through open fields and quiet woods. We'll ride through
small villages, seemingly frozen in time and
pass beautifully restored farmhouses, some of which serve as
wineries
today.
Our destination is an
18th century villa, with
a
fabulous view, lovingly restored by a the
Canocchi family, who will welcome us into their grand home and treat us
to Mamma Erminda's delicious classic Tuscan cooking; dinner will include
home-made pasta, wild game and other
typical Tuscan
specialities.
